We celebrated the spruced-up Great Hall by hosting an evening of fantastic music with the great Mr. Ian Shaw on the 23rd of January, with lighting and sound by East Staging.

February 20th saw our Wedding Open Day which was a great success. It was a beautifully crisp winter day and sunlight flooded through the windows of the Great Hall. We were delighted to welcome so many prospective brides and grooms and do hope they enjoyed meeting our pick of the very best local photographers, florists and stationers. The event was made perfect by musical performances on the harp and piano, not to mention Spice Outside's delicious and hugely popular chocolate brownies! At the moment we are surrounded by a carpet of snowdrops but before long we will start to see daffodils, heralding the start of a very busy Spring and Summer ahead. We have more weddings than ever before in the coming months and 2011 is also looking exciting.
